Challenge

FDMCare was designed for physical therapists and their patients. The app allows to create and store the history of visits and their results in one convenient place that you can access from your tablet anywhere and at any time. Our main goal was to develop a mobile documentation of the patients' medical condition that would be visually appealing, easy to use and verify treatment results.

Our challenge was a dedicated visual editor in which therapist could use scalable symbols of fascial distortions on a human model and map out the actual trouble areas of their patients. We also had to find a way to display all the patients' important information in such a way that would help the therapist save time and wouldn't require him to go through all the medical files.

Outcome

The resulting app can entirely replace a physiotherapist's paper documentation. We made sure to maintain a step-by-step user scenario, exactly the same as the course of a traditional visit, starting with creating a Patient File. Results of previous visits are shown in grid form to provide an overview of the recovery process, with details containing revealed distortions, reported pain levels and pre/post therapy video recordings.
