While working with confidential health data, we had to be constantly vigilant about data security. From storing data in the application's storage to processing it on the back-end, we could not afford any potential leaks or unauthorized access.
A critical aspect of our project was ensuring proper communication with the Grasp device and securely retrieving data from it. Collaborating closely with IoT engineers who developed the firmware for the Grasp device, we meticulously implemented Bluetooth Low Energy. This was particularly important during the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) phase, as it often involves numerous changes in both software architecture and business requirements.
The Grasp device is designed to support therapy in mental health and somatic care. After our clients developed the prototype, we assisted them with the back-end development. This included creating an admin panel and a management system for therapists.
We have taken over the development of a prototype Grasp iOS application and transformed it into a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) by enhancing its existing features, which are based on Bluetooth Low Energy technology.
We've also expanded the application's ability to communicate with the Grasp device, laying the groundwork for future data visualization and analysis.
The Grasp ecosystem was built on solid foundations, combining our developed Mobile Application, Back-end System, and Front-end Application. This solution has impressed numerous experts in the Health Care industry with its simplicity and commitment to privacy.
Grasp now offered a user-friendly, secure, and therapeutic environment, complemented by an extensive management system. Currently, users can track and understand how they experience pain, stress, or specific emotions over time - be it days, weeks, or even months.
Grasp, created in cooperation with commercial and research partners, is a cutting-edge real-time communication tool designed to bridge the gap between patients and medical staff, ensuring an enhanced understanding of patient well-being.
