As the product gained traction, the need arose for institutional investment to fuel ambitious international expansion plans, including ventures into the United Kingdom and United States. In order to be compliant we had to build an in-house team. It was crucial to navigate the complexities of establishing a foreign subsidiary with the help of a trusted partner.
Through mutual agreement, key personnel from our existing development team were transferred to spearhead this new unit. We introduced a hybrid outsourcing model where we integrated the new in-house team with our existing team of engineers, to facilitate knowledge transfer.
We undertook the establishment of a subsidiary Polish limited company, managing all the essential back-office formalities and logistics, including: operational framework, securing office space, equipment, HR.
As a key success factor, we introduced a 'CTO as a Service' model, where the project's solution architect was dedicated full-time to technical leadership. Having been involved in the project since its inception, the deep understanding of the product was unmatched.
Fonn was now operating their own local unit in Poland, with operational and technical leadership still provided by Zaven. Key personnel was now working from their new office, with new hires coming along.
Fonn offers user-friendly project management software tailored specifically for the construction industry.
